My sister in law was walking home on 29 Jan 08 from the SPAR in Pinetown when 5 black men stole her cell phone then her handbag and stabbed her multiiple times in the process
The police say that they have been looking for this gang in a blue golf for a while!
Two days prior they had attacked another person in the same vicinity.
WHERE ARE THE POLICE?
CRIME IS OUT OF CONTROL!!

My dad's boss finally found a beautiful wife and were so happy that they had a baby. Then the one day, the wife is busy holding hey baby, feeding it milk. Then all of the sudden, the robbers broke through the windows, but they set off the alarm which angered them. They went for the women with the baby in her hands and started stabbing her. The lady tried to protect her baby by holding her tightly. She ended up getting stabbed 20 times and she died of blood loss. She managed to phone the husband and ask him to come quick and help her baby, she didn't even mention herself. It ended up being 4 blacks that ganged up on her. In the end she was dead, but luckily the baby just had a few scratches. They found out that it was the gardener who got his gang to kill her. The reason he called his gang to attack her was because a few days before the incident she asked him to do some work for her, and he refused because he was a lazy gardener and then she fired him. If you ask me, this country is getting worse and worse everyday.
Have you also noticed that alot of African people are robbing and killing the people

The crime rate is crazy. The police don't come fast enough. Here in Detroit, its just bad all over. People die everyday for stupid reasons. And most of the dead are baby's!! Little kids dying. Either getting killed in Drive-By shootings or they are shooting themselves. They get a hold of a gun, not knowing what it will do. And they end up shooting themselves in the face or shooting another child. We are losing our future because the parents don't know how to keep there guns in a safe place and unloaded. People are just stupid here.
There are not alot of car jackings here, but there is alot of shootings. Gun violence is a big factor. I'm not against guns, but they need to bone up the system. Most people that have weapons, do not need them at all. But they make it hard for a honest person to purchase a weapon. Detroit is a bad place to live. This city is slowly but surely going in to the pit of hell. And I'm in the middle of it all.

Hey REG 89
The grass is never greener on the other side :( - its just us poor honest folk that always have to suffer!
I have just heard on East Coast Radio that they caught these Guys! A policeman was in his car when he witnessed them hijacking someone. So he called for help and they got them! Guns, knives and stolen property were recovered.
Nice one Mr Policeman! Thank you!
It just proves one thing...
The police should BE MORE VISIBLE!!

it's amazing how detached people can get from perpetuating crime and violence. you really have to wonder what kind of childhood they had that allowed them to grow up and not realize what they're doing is wrong or don't care. you can't blame their parents, it's all on them...i think here in Cali the gang members out number the police like 1000 to 1 or worse...
oh yeah, i almost forgot...Beth is smokin' hot in case you guys were wondering...hi Beth!

I think a major problem facing South Africa, is that we are surrounded by impoverished peoples from many countries. They see South Africa as a land of milk and honey, smuggle themselves in (something like you have in the southern states REG89) and revert to crime to achieve their ambitions.
Another problem we face is that with so many of our "new" leaders either having links to crime syndicates, or having been directly involved in crime someway directly, they tend to ignore what is going on in real life as they sip their sundowners with ignorant bliss in their new found wealth.
Something that we have yet to do as a nation is to "learn from the past" and to ensure that we do not go down roads of others long gone.
A PRIME example is that the only way you can claim unemployment benefit is to be fired for something serious like theft! This just does my brain in. NO BENEFIT = MORE CRIME !

that should read, More Crime = More Benefit! One problem is that if the majority of crime comes from an identifiable populous (for arguments sake, say black people), any cleaning up of the area resembles racial discrimination which nobody stands for, unless it's against any other culture but Black...then it seems to be ok. Yeah, there's others but I'm just trying to elicit a point.
