the following was confirmed by one of my sources.
People beware and please take the relative safety measures as far as you can in securing ur home against intruders.
the new rule for burglary is SHOOT AND KILL FIRST THEN PILLAGE.
this is no joke please SA be ever vigilant.. even if it means getting a small dog that can bark its head off at the slightest movement or sound in ur home just to wake you up and give you a heads up to prepare for it.
its time to take things seriously and stand together to rid this country of the scum that lurks around our homes at night.

As a person who was held up at gunpoint and smacked around, I can really relate to this idea that these criminals WANT to impose violence. To the criminals out there - take my stuff when I'm not home, why do you have to hurt people in the process. These guys aren't stupid, they keep track of your movements, so why not take everything from my house and not be violent. No, these people will settle for a cellphone, a useless bank card and the make-up in my handbag, oh, and of course, my family's pictures in my purse, when they can have the tv, sound system, all my appliances, heck, even my car. I cannot conceive that these bastards want to commit acts of hate against people who do no wrong and are good living, decent citizens. It boggles and disturbs me.

True Bubble Head...
Something to be careful about too is this..
If you see bottles or old coke cans on your pavement - GET RID OF THEM QUICKLY!
Gangs are leaving items on pavements to 'mark' a new target and depending on how it is placed tells them if you are home or not...
This was mentioned on another forum I saw a while back...
BE CAREFUL OUT THERE!

Although this is an old post, nothing has changed.
In our area we are getting targeted by a huge X on our walls, so daily I go outside and cover up any X marks around our property.
I must admit, I am aware of movement around our home and I am ready for anyone who thinks they coming in to take over.
